Guess what.....?

I DID IT !!!!

I have created my own blog.

I decided about a year ago to create my own blog mainly for my sister who lives in the U.S.  She misses out on so much of our everyday lives and I thought a blog would be the ideal way to keep her up to date with all the going-ons in our family and show her pics of new things around my house (as I love shopping).

I was so excited about my 'Blog' and suggested to Karen (my BFF) that she do the same (as my sister has become great friends with Karen - Karen writes to her and as anyone who knows my sister, knows that she LOVES to receive cards and letters).  As Karen has become a talented card maker, she sends her new creations to her

To cut a long story short (which is hard for me as I seem to love going into detail about absolutely everything)......after Karen gave a firm NO to me about creating a blog......she went ahead and made a blog.  Can you believe that?????  Anyway.....poor me still didn't have a blog and Karen has been blogging for yonks.

While talking yesterday (in real life) to a girl whose blog I stalk (Makayla - who is a friend of my son, James and his fiance Laura).....I chastised her for not updating her blog regularly.  I have been stuck reading her last blog for months.  She promptly informed me that she has been so, so busy and that she would write on her blog more....if I started a blog.  So Makayla.....GUESS WHAT!!!! I did it !!!!!!

I feel like I am going to spend my entire weekend blogging and customising my blog....so I will apologise in advance to my house, whom I was going to give some attention to this weekend.
